The Lompoc Pops Orchestra is deeply embedded in the community, collaborating with local organizations and participating in events that celebrate the region’s rich cultural tapestry. Notably, the orchestra made history with back-to-back performances of “Peter and the Wolf” at the Lompoc Civic Auditorium, showcasing its commitment to educational outreach and community engagement. As of the current date, the Pop’s organization has entertained over 1,200 students from every elementary school in the Lompoc Unified School District.”

THE POPS SEPTEMBER CONCERT
With the outstanding professional musicians of the Lompoc Pops Orchestra, as well as a wonderful, accomplished selection of guest vocalists, audiences will be transformed to the bright lights of Broadway with this stunning concert of musical pieces, including “Till There Was You”, from The Music Man,” If I loved You” from Carousel, “All I Ask of You” from Phantom of the Opera, and so much more!
Don’t miss this unforgettable afternoon of Broadway favorites—bring your friends and family and join us for the music, memories, and magic! The concert will be held at the First Methodist Church (925 North F St.), Lompoc, on Sunday, September 20, at 4pm. Tickets: $25 general admission. Discounts for Active-Duty military and full-time students with ID. Children under 12 free.

The POPS ORCHESTRA is composed of many of the Central Coast’s finest musicians and performs four times a year at Lompoc’s First United Methodist Church, located at 925 North F Street in downtown Lompoc. Always open to audience input and suggestions, the concert performance day and time has been recently moved to Sunday afternoons at 4:00 p.m. with the exception of the Christmas performance which remains an evening event.
Admission is $25.00 for adults, $5.00 for full-time students (with student I.D. shown at the door) and $5.00 for active-duty military members as well. Children 12 and under are admitted free of charge with an attending adult.
